Dear Margie, I'm very very sorry that I haven't written you sooner but you known the Army, eat, sleep, and work. Since I have been transferred down here to camp Maxey I have been pretty busy as I am working in the office now and I have quite a bit of work to keep busy. Don't think that I have forgotten you though as I have thought of you often evern though I couldn't get at writting.
I got a letter from my brother the other day and he told me you had written hime and ask about me and he is wondered why I hadn't written to you.
I sure had a wonderful time this past week as my girl friend from Dayton was down here and it was the first time that I had a good time since I have come in the army. She left yesterday so I guess I go back to the old army routine again but I don't care now.
From now on I will try and write more frequently than I have in the past. By the way how about sending me a picture of yourself if it isn't to mucg trouble as I would really appreciate it. It wouldbe something to remember you by in the case I would ever go across and that won't be long! Well I have quite a lot of work to do so I guess I had better stop for now but I will try and write more later.
Lots of Love,
Your cousin
Bill
P.S. I wonder if that is the right address, I lost it so I just had to take a good guess.
