Dear Margie,
Recieved your very lovely Christmas package Christmas Eve so it got here right on time. It was a very lovely gift & please thank your Mum & Dad also. I really appreciate it more than you will ever know Someday I hope to be able to repay all of you for everything that you have done for me. Yesterday was just another day for us over here except for another day for us over here except for the swell dinner we had. It was composed of turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, green beans, cranberry sauce, apple pie, peaches, bread & butter & coffee. After that meal I was really full but I knew that it was appetizing. I'm still wondering if that meal had any effect on my teeth as today I had to have a "molar" pulled & it wasn't any fun!

I hope your family had a nice Christmas and that you recieve some lovely gifts. I hope you will write & tell me what all you recieved & what you did. I'm wondering if you stayed sober or shouldn't I ask such questions? I was talking to Tony the other day and he said to tell you "hello". We had quite a long & interesting conversation about the older days. He sure has some great plans for the furture! Speaking of plans for the furture what have you in mind or is that getting too personal? As for myself I'm going to college for a few years & then maybe I'll get hitched. Well Marge this isn't much of a letter but it's the best I can do tonight. Again I say thanks a million for the package. Write when you can.
As Ever,
Bill
