Dear Jacky
I was sorry to see you cry when we left you Sunday night, but we had to leave. Daddy won;t be home this week end, but he will before too long. We are away down in Geogia a long way off. We came down by train ad saw a few cows and horses. We didn't see any place as good as Groton is to us.
Well Daddy must sign off and go back to the PK for a bottle of Coca Cola and you cam have a drink of good cold water for daddy as there isn't any water fit to drink down here
All my love,
Daddy.
