Dearest Nellie
It is only the noon time but we have a few minutes and I won't tonight. As I told you yesterday we were out last night for 2 hours extra. Tonight it is only 1 hour. I think we get a ride in a truck tonight out to Booby trap Village. Tomorrow the whole Company walks out and back. It is only 5 miles so we go back and forth each day. Mr Cambell was right I have to see the C.O. for a furlough, but
I also have to get permission from my sargent to see the first sargent and from him to see the C.O. My sargent whose name is Fred said it wasn't any use as I would have to show the telegram and that said you were both O.K. Did the boys have any luck fishing sure wish I could be there with them. More masmi are showing up every day. One came in and spoke to me about it last night. Well we go out for Boyout Practive and Physical Training this afternoon
It was real nice last night during the shower and afterwords but it better than all get out today. Well must close for now, will add some more tonight Well the boys says we have got 10 minutes more before we fall out. I am gald that the watch runs, down here the main spring seemed to be broken. I like the new one fine it isn't too good looking but if it will keep time it all I want. The watch strap wore out in three days. The hot weather and sweat rots them out. I like the bracklet fine, but I am afraid that it will get
awful duty. As you can see we have been to the Px and it bed time. It is the first time that they have had any pens of any kind. We have had a physical and got sooking wet twice since supper time. Another thinder shower but it still genmtle warm, It rained like the devil.
Well must close
All my love to my three sweethearts
Love Phillip
