Dear Jacky,
I have been a long time since I have writtne you a letter, but I haven't forgotten my little sweetheart. I won't be too long now before I can get you in my arms again now. The first thing we do when I get home is to head for Camp so I want you to have everything ready so we can stay up there. Plenty to eat, Coca Cola, a little gasoline and
a few mudworms. Have mother take a couple of boys and go up to Whitehill and dig some, Mother wrote that she had bought a tent for you birthday. I let you will have from with that. Don't let mother forget to put your money order in the bank, lay for you and ahlffor Lois. It isn't much of a birthday present for a lttle girl, but will have to do this time. There isn't much to write about, as we haven't been boring any fun. Every Saturday
and sunday it has rained. In fact it has rained most of the time for the last those week and the nights are very cold. I ahve jsut written to But and must drop not to Gene. I want to keep caught up on my mail as I don't like to have any hanging over.
See you soon Sweetheart
Love Daddy
