Dear Annie,
I recieved your most welcomed card from you & many thanks for it. I guess you have forgotten how to write by now for you haven't wrote a letter for a few "months" unless it's to someone else nearby. So lets see you write a letter again. Ha, Ha. I don't write so often now for its no use & its not my fault either. So you may guess the answer to that one. Its harder then you think to write. Most the something over & over again that gets awful tiresome writting the same thing over & over again

I know there more to write about there then there every would be here. So let's see if we can write more often. Are you willing to try that way? I am if you are. I have your & your sister's letters almost worn out by re reading them so often. Aunt Effie wrote a few lines including Uncle Wilbur & Aunt Seel why shouldn't you. Tell Aunt Effie tht you nevr wrote & appologise to her for not writting. Ha. Ha.

You won't mind me not writting so much for down here there isn't anything ,uch to write about. If you were here you'll see for yourself that there isn't much to write about. You'll have to excuse such short lettters for a while yet anyway. So write when ever possible.
Your as ever
