Dearest Darling
Just a few lines to let you know I think of yyou every minute of the day. I'm now in a new Bn waiting for Sunday to start bivouac. I won't have any time to write you next week & I think you can understand why. This place I'm now in sure is hell, the barrack have double decker bed and durty cracks big enough to put your finger in, its awful. I'll be on this side of the
ocean at least a week & a half to ten weeks and I'd give anything to we with all my buddies again. It's mightly lonesome hell with nobody I know & have to make friends but thats the hardshift of the Army. Honey when are you going to send me your picture? Honey did you go to my house and get my picture. I don't care I just wondered. Mother write and said some girld cam and stayed quite some time. She said she used to work at the "400" so I that of you immediately which picture is it? Honey I wish you
would write often I love to hear from you which makes me happy, it makes me feel like going out & really soldiering. If you only knew how this Army life is, we live the life of a dog and taht I do mean, and the way they treat a man soome time isworse than a dogs life. I hear that they have to give every man at least five days at home before going ouverm cause of so many going AWOL at P.O.E and I don't blame them one bit, so I may be home yet, lets hope so. Well honey I haven't anything to write of any importance so will sign off for now. Write soon and often.
Love
Pune
