Dearest Darling
Recievd your mail whie in Fort Meade which I never expected to get. I'm no longer there any more but some where in new york on the East Coast. I'm going on pass tomorrow night to see new York city, tahts If werthing works out ok. I won't be hree long maybe there or more days yet so it won't be ling before I'll be in hot stuff. I really can't say mucg they don't allow us to. It's snowing out
tonight but not very cold. I've been issued all new combat equipment so I'm already to leace but as the time comes closer I'm not to much in a hurry. Most of the fellows went on pass toniht so the barracks is pretty dead. Honey I'm sorry but went off on left alll the things I was making your braclet oout ofin Fort Meade, but don't get mad. I'll make uop for it some way. I'll send you a bracelet of some kind from Europe. Honey I'm getting pretty sleepy so will sign off tonights and finish it tommorrow? Well honey here it is early morning
seem Shiming which made it very pretty out with the snow on the ground. I just signed for my pass so I'll get to see new York city yet. My passs starts from twelve noon till there is the morning. Were just sitting around waiting to hagve to barracks inspected. Honey I'm sorry to hear you have the mup but don't worry until you've had every thing like I've had & I meaean everything. Well honey I just found out for sure much more to say so will close. Write soon & often
