just found time towrite you a few lines. I haven't had time to hardly been around to do anything. Im now in General Pattons third Army somewhere in France. I arrived in France march the wighteenth and been riding a train ever since. I've seen some Awful sights while traveling the different citys and there suure isn't much left to see. I sure fil every for the Frencj people for they've sure been ther a lot _____. I sure had so spent most of my time on dick all but time but times the navy wouldn't permit. Well honey I haven't more to say so will close hoping to hear from your soon and often. Write soon.
