Dear Darling
Recieved your pictures and your letter two days ago and just couldn't find ttime to write anybody even my mother. I haven't been with the company for over a month now, been feasting at a Hungarian Lodge and now on a wood cutting detail high in the Mts. Here me have 25 55 German prisioners to cut the wood for the city of Steyr, work every day rain or shine. I'm so dam far up in the
mts it does nothing but rain day after day also snow, the white taps are just covered with snow. Yesterday they brought our winter overcoat so they must think it becoming cold soon. Your pictures seem are good all the boys think there just good also your a good looking girl, I look at them any time I ahve off. The paper says the 26th Div will be home don't mean me, all men with 60 paints our more will leave with the Div and all below will be transfered to another to occupy
Casey wrote and said he'd been going with you for several weeks also said he was very fond of you, Donna there must be on at awful man shortage back home or you jus don't have any self rspect for your self. Well Donna must close now and write Mother before I forget. Write Soon
Love
Pune
