Dearest Donna,
Well donna how are you hope you are fine and the folks to and I must not foget to Mary. Well honey the day has come and hun I am sure worried as I am ORD all the way the orders read Kerns Ntah no a house arrive 25-7-46. Destination D.O.Y and I am pretty sure I will not get a leave and Ntak means south Pacific all the other shipments have had 3 days to get readdy but last nite Jim and I were home whenthe field called me at 10PM and I had to briung all my things within one hr, I really had to work fast. then I passed today and shop out 8AM in the morning (Wednesdat) 24-7-46 so tehre must be a boat waiting in San Francisco. Well I met my cousin overthe week end and we sure had a swell time no kidding she is funny on to Chicago and then back to "Frisco"

so I am happening to get to Frisco and get a couple days lay over I could see her then also some of the rest of the family. Most of these little 18yr old boys are crying tonite and really a sad sack but I have been getting the little brown fag so I feel like goiing over it I will be sorry. Donn hun ther really isn't much to write so please forgive me IU will write and let youkknow first what the story is and hun if I can't get to here hun don;t forget I would like to hear from you.
