Dear Roy:
Just a few lines to let you know we are all well as ever and hope you are well Florence and Charlotte was out here this evening. Charlotte didn't come in, hasn't been very well for a long time she has been in bed most of the time. Mrs Walsh has been here this evening from Pennsylvania fist time she has been back since she went there looks about the same Noble said tell you he sends his best. The Lamms wanted us to go the the Ringling Bros. Circus with them but we did not go. It would of been too late for your Dad to stay up and too tiresome just listened to Gabriel Heather with the news only received the one letter of Sept. 6th got a letter from Mary Strack to-day wanted to know if we miss her says she surely misses us said she might come home next spring she said. 2,000.00 worth of war bonds Hope to see you soon. Love Mom and Dad.
