Dear Sister,
Recieved your letter yesterday, I was gald to hear from you. I am first fine and I hope that you are the same. Well I am back in Drew Fiedl again I lost 6 lbs while I was on maneuvers. I lost too much sleep out there otherwise I like it all right out there. I hear that you got a diamond for Christmas from your sweetheart, Good for you when are you getting married?
I think we will leave Drew field soon. The way the out look are now. We may go across or we may stay on this side along the coast somewhere. But I don't worry I may be here a month yet or maybe longer yet. I applied for a furlough about a month ago. I think I will get it in March sometime if I stay here that long. I hear Clarence and Norman are in IIC. I guess they don't
have to go for a while. Tomorrow we will go to some lake and shot the 50 Caliber machine given out into the lake. I think it is about 30 miles from here. I can't think of any more news So I will sign off now I hope to hear from you again soon,
So long,
Amar
