Dear Sis:
I recieved your present today which you sned me and I recieved Verma's letter yesterday was gald toi get both of them, I sure aam tickle about the nice things you send me, and I thank you alot, but there was one little mistake when you put the batteries in the flashlight as it was all chromed inside the flashlight. I thouight at first it was ruined, but I clean it out good t works ok now,. It sure is a nice thing to have down here in the dark jungles, it really gets dark at night. I hear all kinds of noises at night I don't know what it is. How is everybody by now? I am first fine, I hope you are all the same, I think Geome, Maries, Hermin and Norman are going to mask at the mashearade dance at Windleman's Saturday night, I guess they will have some fun, I wish I could be in with it to, I would like to got to a dance once again. I haven't danced for so long I don't know whether I can dance yet or not. How is the weather up there? It sure been colld and misty down here the last few days. I must sign off. I hope to hear from you again
So Long,
Brother Amos
