Dear Judy:-
How is my best girl today? Another day nearer to the time when I will be seeing you and believe me darling that time isn't so far off. They're really shipping them out fast and furiously and it won't be long until all the G.I's have left London bound for home. Gosh that sounds good. Home! Its been so long that I've been here that I'll feel like a visitor in a strange country but not for long and then will make a home of our own. How does that sound? Right now I am sitting at the open window, overlooking the street and watching the rain beat down. Nice and cozy, the only thing is that you are not with me. Daylight is until 11:30 so you can see they have long days and short nights this time of the year. It makes a nice thought as after, for after I am done looking I can go to Hyde Park, lie in the Sun and watch a ball game. That is when it is not raining like it is at the moment. Well darling I'll have to close for now, take care of yourself. I'll be seeing you soon.
Love and Kisses,
George
