Monday Nite
10:30
My Own Darling;
Well I've gottne quite a bit of work done so far to-nite but I still have a lot to do. I'll never finish it all to-nite. It's only 10:30, but It seems as though we've been apart for at least a day. I miss you something terrible darling. Mortion pulled in about 8 o'clock this evening. He said he had a dull weekend at home. He wasn't able to get a date with "Babs". In fact she's already engaged. Well honey, I feel like the lowest kind of a heel possible, even lower than a worms foot print. No kidding! Here' what happened. I didn't bother looking in the mail box for the last few days because I thought who'd want to write to me anyway.
tonite, however some unseen flower climbed my frame and litterally sterred me to it, and what do you think I found. A card from the most wonderful card in the world today. No kidding it was sweel dearest. I even hate to explain to you why I think I am a heer e.g. to the 10th degree. I guess you'll just have to overlook it this time, besides no card could give justice to my feelings towards you, my darling. Well I'll be seeing you at lunch tomorrow - I can't wait. Just htink how seel it will be when I can hold you tight again. After all the restraint this week. It's just as hard for me as it is for you if not harder but it simply must be done. Well I better get back to my school work.
Good nite precious
All the love in the word
