Dearest Darling,
We just arrived at Jamies at 12:30 P.M. Grandma is better than she had been. I missed you terribly, popsie. I'm all excited now as you'll understand. To-morrow's letter will be better. I must get this in the mail before 2 and its 1 now. She was so glad to see us she cried. She loves my picture too. She doesn't have any pain, she is only weak. On new years day they had to keep rubing her to keep her alive.

I'm starved now, Jamie is fixing up something to eat now. They send their love to you and wish you all could be here. We made terrible to try to sleep on the train. I was stiff and awake everyhour. We looked Moms girlfriend in Radford but she was working . So we took a train to Snowville. It cost $2.00 they were looking

for me. Grandma siad Mother and I were over her all night. She might get better if she eats and gets striaght. I hope you liked your bed. Please darling think of me once in a while. I'm always thinking of you. I'm afraid to read over this. I know its a mess. I must hurry and take this to the Post Office. And then hurry up

up stairs to Grandma. You keep my love until I get back. A better letter to-morrow darling. Mom is still worried about Pop and Toby and everything.
