Darling;
I am sorry I had to cut your letter off so short last nite but I was really in a hurry to get away from the post. After mess about 6:30 P.M. we were told that we would again be restricted to quarters and probably to-morrow (Sunday) also. there was also a lot of talk about K.P. duty on Sunday. They were asking us how many had fatigue suits and how many they had. Talk like that makes us all feel pretty downhearted. About 15 minutes later we heard the sargeant yelling in the courtyard, "OFF POST FOR TWO HOURS, FALL OUT!" I was just washing my mess kit so I rushed through that, got dressed and hurriedly finished and mailed your letter and off with a few other fellows to B.T.C. #4 to look up Jack Wood and Al Boouse that other fellows
