Dearest,
I'm sorry I absolutely can't write you a long letter to-nite. We didn't get any rest all day. We drilled and drilled most of the day, had a lecture on rifles this morning. We also had some practice and demonstrations in jin jitsu. Boy wait till I hold you darling. This evening we had a lecture by Quentin Reynolds, the war correspondent. It is now 9:20 and we recieved very
bad news today we have to go on KP tomorrow moring at 2:45 a.m till about 8:30 Sat nite isn;t that lovely. I hope that means we'll be shipped early this coming week. We got over fatique today. I'll send you a picture of me in them. I look like Smiling Jack in them. We also got goo masks today. Well I'm very sleepy so I'll go to bed and dream of you. Good nite now. A nice long one tomorrow nite.
