My Precious Darling,
Its getting so hot down here, I'm really glad to get away. It must of been 95 to 100 degrees in the sun today, and I'm telling you darling that's pretty hot when you have to "col" and drill in it all day. Well we did today practically with the exception of two lectures. We all, well most of us, got blisters on our faces today. It must of been the rifle range. My nose and upper cheels are a mess. Ah well darling, all I hope is that I get over
if before I meet you.
I got a haircut today and I'm really beginning to like my hair this way. I have really light sideburns and on top it's about 1/2 an inch long. It's very comfortable anyway. I can promise you my darling, it looks pretty well when I meet you.
We will probably ship out early next week. There are all kinds of rumours floating arround you, you really don't know what will happen. We all hope ot'll will be soon anyway, I can't wait darling till we're together, dearest, I'm getting more vicious every day. This will have to be short, darling, I'll make up for it tomorrow, lights were just ordered out. Bye now my dearest.
All my love and kisses.
Herb
