Our Dearest Beloved,
Why don't you get my letters or did you get two or three on Tues? I give up, it looks like you are too. because you didn't write to me Sunday, you said once you were going to a football game. did you? You certainly don't me the particulars on your night life especialily. If only you would come home, this is driving me mad.. By damn if you don't soon come home, I'm comming out. Can't imagine how this waiting and suspence is, of course I realise it's the smae for you. Everytime I hear the phone I think it mite be you calling and every noise on the porch I hope its you but - Understand that I love you and miss you and that is why it is so terrible. Maybe I should write tonight if its gonna be like like this so I'll stop. I sincerely hope you went to see that descharge officer and give him hell. And you'd better save yourself for me or I'll beat you over the head because I'm all yours and you're gonna have to dish out plenty when we get together, if that day will ever come again. Please forgive me darling but I'm as disgusted because I thought you'd be home by this weekend for care, especially since you told your parents you'd be doing something within ten days.
Enclose is a letter from Maxine. gee they're luck Oh I shouldn't talk like that they deserve it. Linda was a card again today as usual but not quite as badas yesterday. She says Daddy from the very first thing in the am till the last at night, she certainly didn't forget you, my dear. She was out this am and this pm then a girl came in with us, everything the kid picked up Linda wanted. She wouldn't eat her supper, peas potatoes, so I sat her on the chair, she cried, I asked if she was gonna eat, she shook her head no, bt ate the fruit and milk. She had a good breakfast and lunch so I guess she wasn't very hungry.

Last night I mailed your letter in town then went to J. They had just gotten home from Hemmings and the store. I put the kids to bed while I made 3 day clams. We ate beer, chiposm pretzels, pickle and I ate 4 clams things were nice and small, oodles of butter you would have enjoyed them. Oh boy, you know what clams do to people, maybe that why I'm in such a mood tonight. When you come home I promise to eat, dozens oh. I went to the bus with at 12 I got home at 12:50 had to mail so long for a bus in Penn St. Mom, Linda and I were gonna catch the Birdabars bus here ate the corner today, pick up J Corin and got to Rford, but L and I got up too late. If the weather is still nice we're
planning to go up home Sunday. I know you don't care about going up, so I'd better go now. I'll write your parents tonight and tell them to come up Saturday if they want too. Incidently I'm flat broke and didn't even pay a cent board this month, however I'm going to town tomorrow am with Linda for a snow suit and a grey hat. Mom will lend me the money. Tomorrow nite W Rda is having a big parade, horse show and beauty contest for the Victory Loan Drive. I called time tonight to go but promised another girl to go Sat. night, however Jean will go. I'm sure we'll see Menmuce there too, I called her last night. I think Mom and Pop will go Sat night, there's a big parade in town Sunday.

Do you work right hours most every day? What do you do with all the money? Bose and women, huh. Well darling I'll close for now and if you're not home by next weekend I'll be out, that's all I want for my birthday. Linda and I we'll stay till you get discharged and I'm not kidding. SO tell them something
All Our love and Kisses
Linda and Cleo
