Fort William's
July 22 - 1918
Dear Mother:-
Just finished and mailed one letter and happened to think I forgot to say. We were issued new uniforms, tow and one can now get one to fit exactly especially the blouses and trousers so it will cost from $3.00 to $3.50 to have each uniform tailored to fit. So ask Dad to send some change also send me some summer B.U.D's they took our summer wear of own we are allowed to wear them. My size is 36, get soem good suits as all of the fellows are wearing their own and most of them are wearing good underwear. Tell Dad to get some.
two or three suits from Parker's. Tell young Parker to give him some good suits he always used to give me good dope when ever I bought them from him.
Lewis

Tell him not to wait but send as soon as possible, as I have to wear iks stuff and it is too large for me and looks like . Also too heavy with suits to wear as there's I have our pretty hot.
