My dear Folks
I recieved three letters the other day and they found me in the best of health and you folks are the same. We have been having a good winter about 4 inches of snow, not so very cold. It seems funny that you don't get my mail after I write every week. If I were in Germany I could get you some helment. Was surprised to hear that Chris had left New London. What do they intend to do now. I was thinking when I get my discharge I will go to the merchant
marines. I am going out West first. If we have good luck we will get home by Xmas ha ha. Did you get my sofa pillows I sent to you? When is Niel coming do you know? When does Aunt Grace plan on coming east. If you want to go to the star wait until I get home. What is the excitment at home? I sent you alot of clippings did you ever recieve them. How is Mrs Even this winter tell her I think of her if I don't write. That was strange about Tolmare. To Bill O still out to Phila I suppose will soon coming home
ssince the war has stopped. Well the news is small so I will have to close. Hope to hear from you soon.
As ever
