My dear Folks
I recieved your letters Feb 3 and they found me in the best of health and you people are the same. I expect to see you the last of March or the 1st of April. We expect to leave this place for some sea port striaght away. We all have to get the needle before we leave this country and we have taken it. It is for typoid fever. It made my arm ache for two days but am O.K. again.
The weather is like April over here where we are now. The picture of that boy from Bangor that was in our company and everybody thought the world of him. It was Captain Summer and the captain thought alot of him. Our captain was made a major but was in our battlalion and you can tell the world he looks out for us. But we have a new captain, a second old captain and a good scout. How does Chris like New York? When does Ruth plan on going
We had a chocolate cake today and it made me think of home. Did you get the pillow top I sent you. I sent Ruth a handchief like the one I sent you. They haven't sent any fighting division back yet. They we some divisions that went so unpleasant. They we will beat the 26 division home. We expect to be at a seaport by the first of March. I've been made a corporal some class to it. Cheer up expect to see you all before many days. New London still at the Jet
Well now have to close. Hoping to hear from you soon. Scriptor Coporal 328 Inf Com
