My Dear Folks,
I recieved your letter dated April 7 and found me in the best of health and hope you people are the same. We were going to leave here April 25 but the order untill April 28 and if we go I won't write again in France. It will take us about 9 days to come across. We have 16 days coming over. I thought we would never land. We went to Boston from there to New York and then across All over the ocena but landed at last at Liverpool England
Has Chris found a rent yet and hoe does he like these. The French has got green peas all ready. Most all they want to go home. There was bunch of us had our picture the other bring it with me. Has the fellows got home from the 26 division what is Merler L doing I expect to go out home gor a couple days before I come up home. As soon as we start to sail they will hold our mail at N.Y. and will get after we land.
Tell Katie O to tell Harold if he come to Bordeaux to look me up as there is a large bunch of sailors. Wish I had a camera over it but is to take here now. Could have got some nice pictures. Will have to close for this time with lots of loce to all and hop to see you all soon.
Your Son
Ward

P.S. Give my regards to all I know
