My Dear Mummy
Thank you so much for the papers you sent me. It was very kind for Mr. and Mrs. Bosby to bring you over in their car and also letting you have tea with them. On Monday we had to wait behind a gate until two cows had past us. On tuesday we played a game like hide and seek. On Wednesday I was third in my room to say White Rabbits. On Friday and Saturday our side won the football match. On Friday our side scored 7 goals and their side 6. On Saturday our side scored 5 goals and their side 3. I got my papers quite all right. I shall be longing to see the little picture that Mrs. Watts sent
to you. It is a shame that the new owners are cutting down all the trees, and creepers, and shurbs. I would not do such a thing. What is the picture that Mrs. Watts sent you? It is jolly funny that Fluff did not get drowned when she feel into the tank. I shall be longing for Uncle Dick to come home.
Wit love from
Freddie
