MANLEY HALL COLLEGE
LICHFIELD, STAFFS.
Age 10
June 10th 1928.

My Dear Mummy
My knee is ever such a lot better now because Mr. Canner has been bathing it, and bandaging it up. We had a cricket match on Saturday. It was Phillip's birthday on Saturday. He had a nice big birthday cake. It was a horrible wet day on Saturday wasn't it? Please do you mind not putting 6.20 P.M. and things like that because I cannot read them. I wish I could have been with you in the hunt even if that big swan had (have) been there with his wife and family. How was it that you came to have some bread with you to throw to the swan and his wife and family. Thank you so much for sending my ribbon on. Fancy motoring over five hundred miles when you went to the Lake District
I am so sorry this letter is not a very long one. I hope you are all quite all right. With heaps of love and kisses from
Feddie
