My Auntie,
Ever so many thanks for your present and telegram - it was ever ever kind of you to remember me at all, much less send me anything. I am in camp at the moment doing o/c Advance Pantrol to the "Baroculuim" who came out on Monday, and I'd have weaken before and I really have been "casolui" only
up to the eyes from levride to lights out - devil of a lot of work to do as I've only been given 30 men to mark out and erect tents for 600. I am apparantly bodies for accose the ocean in December - India where our foreighn Baddeori is at the moment the station is Jullundier. Peisswally I'm all for it only I know mummy will be very cut up about it as she doesn't want me to go bet. Still,
