My Dear Mummy,
I hope you get this alright as I told you on ___ I went to the Depot and here I am. I shall be here for about 3 months or more, worse luck. I am now Assistant Adjuctant here and when they form the I.T.C I shall be M.T.O Had a pretty hectic journey up from Aldershot. We had to go via London and corss from Waterloo to Euston with all our kit. On Euston I had to commandeer a carraige, refuse admission to civilians. A sergt and myself ripped off about 20 reserve seats notices and started to get the
fellows in. Then we were told it ws the waiting train, Out we came again and I commandeered a carraige in the next train posted soldiers at each end and wouldn't let anybody gget in. We had to change at Rugby and I did the same there. We eventually arrived here after 8 1/2 hours travelling. No more news war has been declared at last. Though you won't agree with me the sooner I get out to the ____ the better, I want to be these before the war is over!!! Will phone you tonight if I can. Meanwhile,
All the best and don't worry, I'm not
Teddie
P.S In any case there's no need for you to worry about me for 3 months or more TB
